As some of you already know, we have been making some renovations at Bike Bakersfield. While cleaning out some boxes, I came across this old article. I hate to bring up up shit, but this shit still gives me the chills. For those of you who dont know about this incident, Miguel, the god father, was struck by a drunk driver back in 2008. From the looks and the story of the article, he got pretty tore up. It still amazes me that this dude still commutes and rides every single day.
Just a reminder, that accidents do happen. Think next time before you choose to drink and drive, text and drive or even bomb a redlight on your bike.
i think we need to remind people about trying not to bomb lights on MNH before the ride
