"661FIXED presents the 2nd annual Frankensmash: A Halloween eve alleycat.
"The thing I love about an Alleycat Race is that, you have little to no time to react. You read the manifest, and react as fast as you can. As anticipation builds to Frankensmash 2011 (Sunday October 30th) participants do not know any race details other then the start location (17th Place & Chester Ave — Alley way of Bike Bakersfield) and the time of race (Registration: 1Pm // Race: 2PM sharp). So, you might need a bag, you might not. There might be five check points, or it might only be from point to point. You might have tasks assigned for you at each check point, or you might just have to pick something up. You also might get a flat; Does this mean you’ll quit? Or will you stop and repair it and still finish? However, there is only ONE way to find out. Come be apart of something awesome on Sunday October 30th, 2011. " - Frank. N. Smash
Entry fee is $10 (includes t-shirt)
Registration is at 1pm.
Race at 2pm.
There will be an afterparty following the race for everyone involved with Frankensmash.
Come support 661FIXED and the cycling community and have some fun! Even if you don't race still try to make it out.
We can always use volunteers so hit us up if you're willing to help out.
FIRST PLACE TAKES HOME $150 CASH!
There will be prizes for first overall, first fixed, first road, and first female.
