Throw it down 12/02/1

We are here

I feel we have grown. Not just one in particular but all of us "our community" in general. Every day is a constant struggle my friends, on and off our bikes... In a way is it not one of the reasons we love what we do "ride" its such a simple thing YET there are so many facets to riding a bike. May it be racing, cruising, to get in shape, to stay in shape, commuting etc... in the end we are pushing to that destination.

This year went by ridiculously fast, its been most definitely a whirlwind to say the least. I fully, with all my heart appreciate all you troops for taking it to the streets and throwing it down. Keep opening peoples eyes to whats "different" and not the "normal" way of transportation. Find it, find that strength and creativity to keep going...

It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.
